The Kydex insert will lock the mag in the pouch more securely with just the right amount of friction and pulling the mag out wouldn’t be a hassle neither. By getting rid of the annoying bungee straps on your mag pouch the action of changing mags will be quicker and smoother. The insert can be attached inside the mag pouch/chest rig with Velcro.
