The blue tint of the lens, which is common in replica dot sights, is relatively minimal, and distortion is also kept to a minimum, a finish unique to Evolution Gear.
The objective lens is ruby coated, making the reticle appear bright.
The housing is made of lightweight and durable CNC-machined aluminum with a beautiful matte finish. The markings on the side are laser-engraved for a clear and realistic look.
The lens is about 20% larger than Trijicon's similar dot sight, the RMR, making it extremely easy to aim.
It is equipped with a low mount for 20mm rails, but is lightweight at just 71g including the main unit and battery. The main unit alone weighs just 41g, so even when mounted on a handgun, it minimizes the impact on operation. Of course, zeroing is also possible.
